Done right, from the first inspection to the final nail.
Foundation movement in North Texas is a moisture problem before it is a structural one. Clay takes on water and swells, dries out and shrinks, and your slab rides whatever the soil under it decides to do. If one side of the house stays wet while the other bakes, that is where the movement comes from.
So water pooling against the brick, a downspout emptying next to the slab, or a yard that slopes back toward the house is not a landscaping annoyance. It is the reason the piers were needed. A french drain cut through the wet side of the yard gives that water somewhere else to go.
How It Works
Call or send the form
Tell us what you are seeing. A crack, a door that sticks, a floor that slopes, or a closing date coming at you.
We come out and measure
Elevation readings, a walk around the outside, and the crawl space if the house has one. The visit is free.
You get a straight answer
What is moving, whether it needs work yet, and what it costs if it does. Sometimes the answer is that it can wait.
We do the work and close it up
Piers set, house brought back in stages, dirt and grass back where they were, photos of what you cannot see.
The Difference
Why the details matter.
We install french drains too, including in backyards. Ask about drainage while we are out for the foundation estimate, because the two problems are the same problem.

Drainage, answered.
Do I need drainage work or foundation work?
Often both, and in that order of cause. Drainage is what stops the soil moisture swinging; piers are what fix the movement that already happened. We will tell you which one your house actually needs.
Will a french drain stop my foundation moving?
It removes one of the biggest causes, which is water sitting against one side of the house. It will not lift a house that has already settled.
How disruptive is installing one?
It means a trench across part of the yard, so the ground gets opened up along the run. Closing it back up is part of the job.
Can you do it at the same time as the piers?
Yes, and it usually makes sense to. The crew and the digging equipment are already there.
